Timeblast - online game

Circa Games has launched Timeblast the viral spinoff of their international board game brand About Time® as part of their summer marketing activity.

The viral game is from Circa Games’ creative team led by Michele Rosaus, with script by TV historian Justin Pollard, quiz writer for BBC TV’s QI and the Daily Telegraph, and author of numerous bestselling history books.

Timeblast is being launched through Facebook, Twitter and other social media, bringing the unique qualities of About Time® the board game into the viral space.

Players of the fast-moving and light-hearted quiz try to guess the year of major cultural events in order to win Timecash – which gives them discounts of up to £10 at www.abouttimeboardgames.com.

Taking players through the questions are About Time®’s historical icons Napoleon, Elizabeth I, Cleopatra and Genghis Khan. Each character responds in their own unique style to the answers of the players.

The questions are all exclusive to Timeblast, and will be featured in the upcoming
Friends & Family edition of About Time® board game, due for release later this year.

Players can forward the game to friends and challenge them to a Duel, and steal their opponent’s Timecash if they win!
